Orbis's Greenville manufacturing plantWisconsin-headquartered reusable packaging solutions manufacturer Orbis Corporation has opened a new 420,000 sqft. (39,000 sqm) manufacturing plant in Greenville Texas.
The plant also includes an additional 240,000 sqft. (22,299 sqm) of warehouse space and will be used to produce reusable packaging including pallets for the supply chain.
The new plant, which is made up of a modernised and refurbished existing facility, is expected to be in full production by the northern spring of 2025.
Orbis Corporation president Norm Kukuk says the new plant offers the company the capacity to grow.
“It enables us to drive the further use of reusable packaging in the circular economy, better serve our customers by increasing our production capacity, and expand our geographic reach to deliver to customers faster,” Kukuk adds.
Orbis is a subsidiary of Menasha Corporation and boasts more than 175 years of materials handling experience. The company operates in almost 50 locations across North America and Europe.
