Vancouver Sun reported Emili Losier, 21, from Hope, British Columbia, had her first singing lesson from a retired opera singer when she was seven. At 13, she learned singing from Caroline Harder, at the Chilliwack Academy of Music.
After graduating from high school, Losier got a job in a water-bottling plant where she operated a forklift.
She said singing songs from Phantom of the Opera and The Marriage of Figaro while she worked 12-hour shifts loading pallets of water into trucks kept her focused on her work.
Bathroom Divas will culminate in the final episode where the winner will debut at Roy Thompson Hall with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
