Vernon Hills, IL - October 16, 2020 -
The Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association has announced a number of new resources in 2020. MHEDA surveyed the Membership to understand the most critical challenges members are facing.
After compiling the data, it's clear that members need: Economic Data, On-Demand Webinars, Leadership Training, a COVID Relief page, and new ways to
showcase their business.
Managing economic uncertainty is a top challenge, which is why MHEDA partnered with ITR Economics to offer a six month series of webinars focusing on the material handling industry. In addition to these webinars, quarterly Economic Advisory Reports and Podcasts are available, free for members.
One new resource in 2020 is
Member2Member - a new way for members to share their expertise and learn from industry leaders. MHEDA's
Automation Conference Series is taking place from Oct-Nov for $49 per session and Women in Industry will take place in the coming months. Find free
on-demand education on MHEDA's website.
With travelling on hold, MHEDA teamed up with Ryan Avery, a two-time speaker at MHEDA's Emerging Leaders Conference to offer 16 weeks of leadership curriculum and networking. With only 25 spots available, this program coaches employees how to get to the next level in the organization through communication techniques and peer-to-peer practice.
The
COVID relief page on MHEDA's website is important for members to check often. Webinars, white papers, and toolkits regarding the PPP Loan, Tax Relief Incentives, CDC Business Guidelines, sample HR policies, raw survey data, OSHA guidelines, and resources for members in Canada and Mexico is available at
mheda.org/covid19.
