A 12-year-old boy from Lancaster County was killed when a forklift overturned on him in Clinton Township.

The Patriot News identified the victim as Samuel G. Beiler of Ronks, reporting that he was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple blunt force trauma.

Beiler was one of three boys riding on the forklift down a long driveway on Elimsport Road on Saturday night. He was unable to jump clear when the forklift rolled down a steep embankment, and it came to rest on top of him.

Police did not release any information about the other boys involved in the accident.
