SafeWork NSW was notified of an incident

SafeWork NSW inspectors are investigating the death of a worker trapped under a forklift in Chipping Norton, 27 km south-west of Sydney.

The victim was treated by paramedics for head and chest injuries, but could not be saved.

It appears the driver was crushed when a forklift tipped over.

SafeWork NSW confirmed it had been notified of an incident involving a forklift at Chipping Norton. Inspectors visited the scene and have commenced an investigation.
