Toll Group is testing the latest generation FUSO eCanter electric trucks at its Bungarribee site in NSW.

This light-duty all-electric vehicle is perfectly suited to operate late-night and early-morning pickup and delivery services in the Sydney metropolitan area, the company claims.

Over the coming two weeks, Toll Group executive general manager - express parcels Alan Beacham and the Express Parcels team will run a real-world trial to gain the latest operational insights into how this technology can help our customers meet demand for cleaner and quieter urban deliveries.

The Fuso eCanter has a range of about 130 km per charge. Charging takes under six hours and is completed overnight.
