Hyundai Forklift has appointed National Lift Truck Service, Inc. of Pompano Beach, Florida as its newest authorised dealer.

National has four full-service locations in Florida in Pompano, Miami, West Palm Beach and Port St. Lucie and has been in business for 40 years.

The dealer footprint increases Hyundai's South Florida representation to cover Miami-Dade to Indian River Counties, with potential to move further north.

"Distribution is the key to our growth (and) National has the experienced staff and capabilities that will help continue to grow our business in North America," says Chuck Leone, vice president of Hyundai Forklift.

National president Robert Siano traces the agreement back to his visit to ProMat earlier this year. "My intent was (to find) allied lines, but what I saw at the Hyundai booth, (I realised) I had found a line focusing on innovation to forklift design and performance, and I opted in."

Siano believes Hyundai's "commitment to the technological (superiority) and workmanship of forklifts will create a highly successful future for National Lift Truck Service and our customers".

The addition of Hyundai comes hot on the heels of National's appointment as a CLARK dealer in South Florida.

In June, the dealership took on sales and service for the brand, also offering a diversified rental fleet, factory-supported service and parts departments as well as a full offering of allied products.
