China’s LiuGong has expanded its North American dealer network with the addition of dealerships in Kentucky, Oregon and California.

Cornerstone Equipment, based in Dry Ridge, Kentucky, Central Oregon Forklift and Equipment, based in Bend, Oregon, and Defatte Equipment, based in Ukiah, California will now offer LiuGong materials handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks and straddle stackers.

Founded in 2009, Cornerstone Equipment’s three branches offers industrial equipment solutions to the agriculture, outdoor power, construction and material handling equipment industries to the tristate area of Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana.

Cornerstone chief executive Devin Ponder says: “The broad product line offered by LiuGong covering both construction and materials handling equipment fits our target customer base perfectly.

“The value of bringing machines with industry-leading components to market at an extraordinarily competitive price and lead time is exciting.”

Central Oregon Forklift and Equipment sells forklifts in Oregon, California, Idaho and Washington.

“We have been looking for something more affordable for our customers, and additionally, the warranty was huge for them too,” the company’s chief operating officer Dan Shields says.

Originally a used forklift dealer, Defatte Equipment now offers equipment sales, rental and service to the construction, industrial and agriculture industries in California's Lake and Mendocino counties.

Defatte Equipment chief executive officer Joe Defatte says: “We chose LiuGong for their rare combination of quality and price point that we feel will fit into our market just right.”
