EuroShuttle has taken delivery of the latest generation Linde reachstacker and two battery electric forklifts through Linde's dealer in Ostfold, Hesselberg Trucks, in a deal worth more than NOK4 million (USD545,665).
EuroShuttle, based in Halden, Norway, now operates two Linde reachstackers with grapple arm attachments, enabling the machines to pick up swap body trailers and conventional containers. The new reachstacker was manufactured at Linde's plant in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales.
The reachstacker is manufactured in accordance with new European Union regulations on exhaust emissions for engines above 130kW. It was fitted with a Volvo TWD 1240 VE engine, which boasts increased power and lower fuel consumption than previous 10-litre models.
