New Nissan 4-cylinder
K15, K21, and
K25 gasoline/LPG engines are also available. 2.5 litre
K25 is standard for 3 and 3.5 ton trucks and optional for high power model for 2 - 2.5 ton trucks. New K-series engine is also available with ECCS (Engine Concentrated Control System) and EFI, accompanied with 3 way catalytic muffler to meet next generation of low exhaust emission standard.
Compact 109 Series of 2t, 2.5t and 3t capacity trucks are newly added with 1090mm truck width and shorter turning radius. Both diesel and gasoline/LPG type are available with torque converter transmission. Engines and most components are same or identical with standard pneumatic tire models.
Komatsu patented SSCT (Soft & Stable Cushion Tire) is equipped as standard for maximum cushioning comfort and extended tire life.
3.5 ton capacity
35A models are newly added to standard
BX50 Series pneumatic models. These trucks can provide maximum productivity with reduced total operation cost. Power brake are equipped as standard.
Lastly,
Komatsu's unique design on major vital components, such as rigidly improved Frame, Transmission and brake, Steering axle, Mast, Overhead guard and Engine hood have been fully tested at the simulated bench tested for full life span of the truck. Increased cooling capacity and optimum air flow further increase reliability and durability of power train and hydraulic components. By the careful engineering analysis of field failure reports, quality improvements such as face-seal connection on main and PS hydraulic circuit, patterned gasket on tanks and tie-rap less electrical wiring had been incorporated for Zero-leak and to extend the mean time failures to 40 % or more.
