One of the biggest changes in materials handling is the electrification of models previously powered by IC engines.
We are seeing more and more equipment powered by batteries, and this week, we report on two new recent additions.
Italian equipment maker Faresin is claiming a world first after launching a fully electric telescopic handler.
Meanwhile, UK-based JCB has shown off its first electric-powered model in the Teletruk series.
Both machines are aimed at the growing range of indoor applications for heavier machines, as well as in response to environmental and noise pollution concerns.
