Raymond has launched the iWObjectSense system

In this week’s Forkliftaction News we look at the launch of two new products for the materials handling sector which reveal how far the industry has come technologically.

Raymond Corporation has launched its iWObjectSense forklift detection and notification system which gives operators both visual and audible alerts when objects are in the way.

Meanwhile, ArcBest has launched its Vaux Vision 3D perception technology which features sensors attached to a forklift, capable of capturing different dimensions and attributes such as fragility, with the information stored directly in the cloud.

It is exciting to realise we probably can’t begin to imagine the technological changes which will transform our sector in the next decade.

The team at Forkliftaction is looking forward to seeing some of these in their nascent forms at this year’s LogiMAT and ProMat events.
