While it may be close to business as usual for most materials handling manufacturers and dealers, things are still far from normal in the trade show space, with more events postponed this week - and others being held virtually.
It looks like it will be a while before the major shows are staged again - and one can't help but wonder what they will look like.
After a couple of years' absence, it's hard to imagine huge numbers of delegates turning up to spend time in confined spaces with strangers from around the world.
But more telling will be the appetite of vendors to invest in exhibiting. No doubt, many will be questioning the need to spend up big, as they did in the past. They will be looking at their sales performance since their last show and trying to work out if they really need to participate in trade shows to maintain their momentum.
These are, without question, interesting times in which everyone is pondering the path forward.

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
