Our Discussion Forums have become a go-to resource for people seeking technical advice, and each week, we see scores of issues solved by experts around the globe.
We would like to acknowledge those members who regularly chip in with solid, reliable tips and techniques. Their willingness to help is one of the pleasing aspects of this community.
We would, however, ask the people who post their problems to do two things, if they're not already doing so. Firstly, let everyone know when your issue is resolved - preferably indicating which solution worked best for you. This will not only help members facing similar problems in the future, but also stop people continuing to make suggestions after the machine is already fixed.
Secondly, and just as importantly, take a moment to acknowledge those who have assisted you. They get no real benefit, except perhaps the satisfaction of solving puzzles. You can help make their day by thanking them publicly.
