Hangcha Forklift Canada is expanding its product range offered in Canada from 1 October.
The Montreal-based subsidiary of Chinese-owned Hangcha Group has been expanding its presence across Canada since it was incorporated in 2019. This has included opening a 30,000 sqft. (2,787 sqm) warehouse in Mississauga in September 2023 and a 14,000 sqft. (1,300 sqm) warehouse in Vancouver in December, to complement its existing warehouse in Montreal.
“With a majority of the equipment already proven in the Australian and US markets, this marks a significant milestone for Hangcha Canada as it continues to expand its product offerings,” a statement from the company read.
The new Hangcha product line to be offered in Canada includes the 2.5-3.5 T. high-voltage lithium battery rough terrain forklift, 3.5-5.5 T. X series 4-wheel cushion tyre forklift, rough terrain and electric crawler scissor lifts, the XC series electric lithium-ion personal carrier and the 0.2 T. series storage assist vehicle.
Hangcha Forklift America vice president sales and business development Frank Russo says he is optimistic about the introduction of these products to the Canadian market.
"I’ve seen first-hand how the storage assist and personal carrier have performed in the US, and the results have been nothing short of impressive," he adds.
Hangcha added to its range in 2023 when it released its high-voltage lithium battery rough terrain forklift and the XE series electric forklift with lithium-ion battery.
