A new Research and Markets report forecasts the global telehandler market will grow at a compound annual rate of 7.84% over 2014 to 2018.

The report, Global Telehandler Market 2014-2018, based on market analysis with input from industry experts, covers the Americas; Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and the Asia Pacific region. It covers the global telehandler market landscape and its future growth prospects.

While the latest construction equipment technology appeals to many organisations in the industry, some small and medium enterprises find it difficult to buy the equipment because of the high cost. Thus, there is a high growth in the rental construction equipment market, and rental fleets form the largest customer segment for the telehandler market.

There is increased collaboration among construction equipment manufacturers and rental fleet owners. According to the report, telehandler manufacturers are entering into agreements with rental fleet owners to supply telehandlers.

The report discusses key vendors operating in the market and mentions companies like Bobcat Company Inc, CNH Industrial NV, Caterpillar Inc, Doosan Infracore Co Ltd, Haulotte Group SA, JC Bamford Excavators Ltd, JLG Industries Inc, Terex Corp, Komatsu Ltd, Manitou BF SA and Wacker Neuson SE.
