Countdown to IMHX
Birmingham, United Kingdom
With less than a month until IMHX 2022 in Birmingham, organisers are promising a full exhibition floor and a multi-track series of educational seminars, talks and workshops.
The main conference at IMHX 2022 will focus specifically on sustainability, while the Logistics Solutions agenda will dive into how advancements in technology and product design are driving key efficiency gains.
The two separate theatres will run concurrently over the three open days.
“As supply chains continue to deal with unforeseen roadblocks and challenging consumer demands, IMHX is your opportunity to find solutions that will power, protect and optimise your operation for years to come,” organisers say.
IMHX 2022 promises to showcase the latest equipment in action, while attendees will be able to form strong industry connections and discover next-generation technology.
“You'll meet thousands of like-minded professionals through unbeatable networking opportunities.
“Quite simply, it is a unique, unmissable showcase of supply chain solutions across the UK,” they add.
Running from 6 - 8 September at the NEC Birmingham, IMHX is run as a joint venture with UK Material Handling Association and is supported by leading industry associations including UKWA and AMSHA.
Tech Summit returns
Melbourne, Vic, Australia
The supply chain industry’s annual event focused on innovation returns to Melbourne this September, with the Australian Logistics Council (ALC) partnering with HERE Technologies.
ALC CEO Hermione Parsons says the Tech Summit will bring together leading industry experts and focus on how the end-to-end supply chain sector can use technology to drive sustainability.
“Disruption and events out of our control have forced new thinking and a focus on resilience in end-to-end freight logistics and supply chains. Emerging technology, big data, and innovation are fast becoming the key to drive sustainability outcomes and improve efficiency in domestic and international supply chains,” she adds.
Parsons says the summit is the latest in a series of ALC events, focused on engaging with government, industry and policy makers to achieve a stronger supply chain sector.
The Summit will be held on 15 September 2022 at HERE Technologies in Cremorne, Victoria.
