Description: Job Accountabilities:
* Determine the urgency of backordered items, consult with service personnel on same. Set priorities of those items. Coordinate “ship complete” and “kit” orders. (May require handling of parts.)
* Seek quickest source for those items in the Taylor service parts inventory, purchasing system or manufacturing system. Initialize the appropriate steps to get the part and update control information in the computer.
* Follow up to ensure prompt action. May refer to higher authority to further expedite parts through system.
* Check receiving reports to expedite shipments. Help shipping-receiving clerks identify and advise disbursement of backorder parts received
* Review physical purchase receipts records and reconcile with computer receipts report to verify that inventory has been updated correctly.
* Maintain backorder physical file for all customer backorders and update computer backorder files as parts are received and shipped out of the backorder log.
* Expedite parts and assemblies for SSI.
* Fill in as Shipping Clerk when necessity arises.

Job Requirements:
* High School graduate or GED.
* Basic computer skills.
* General knowledge of Taylor Parts System.
* Three years job experience or equivalent in demonstrated experience and ability.
* Must possess strong oral communications skills in dealing with customers.
* Travel may be required. Must have a clean driving record.
