Discussion:
wiper driver code???

I have a 524238-4 wiper driver code it says for rear wiper but neither the front or rear wiper will work. Does anyone know where these drivers are stored? Cluster??? Or could one one the wiper motors be shorted out causing the other to fail???? i am going to isolate each motor but figured it cant hurt to ask.....Thanks

Gentlemen,

I know there was a problem with the wiper system, if it was not operational, light would not start. I also know they came out with a program fix for it in the older lifts. You will need a dealer to come out and update program. Thanks

My manual says its the rear wiper motor??

There is a relay in the roof headlining, just check that first, I had one that was throwing a windscreen washer motor fault and it was the relay.

Its like a double sided relay you can turn it 180 degrees in the socket from memory.

I know you posted this quite a long time ago, but I'm having the problem also. The manual actually says to replace the front wiper motor. Which I did. Still has the code front and rear wiper do not work. 524238-4. Love to know what you did to solve this
