Even famous brands continue to advertise. It is key to keep your name in front of the customers and there are always new customers, new people coming into businesses and people retiring. Companies, like Ford, Toyota, General Motors, IBM, etc. all still advertise.

As we say "Out of sight, Out of mind"

Thanks for your reply Johnr. hmm, just as you said, nobody gonna buy from the company if they are unknown. But, if they are famous brands, it seems unnecessary to put ads??

Yes, I agree with you about competitive price with good quality. We sells forks and it still need time to "prove" lol

A primary objective of is to get your name known to the market place. If you ain't known, no one will come running to your door & buy what you have to offer.

When you do advertise it is very difficult to say what additional business did you pick up. If you get a 3% or greater responsible to your ad that is considered a very successful ad program.

If you are merely offering products that are already sold in the market - then you have a tough time - you need to be price attrative and of equal quality (be able to prove it too)

As it often said "if you want to go fishing, you first have to cut bait."
