there are several versions off this truck the cheap one No you must make with another parts to fix it But when there is A analyser mounted on the right side off the littel display you can make choice for speed up and down.
When you lift over 1.80 Meters the truck slows down but there you can make chance's

Toyota do supply a speed control device, it consists of a fly by wire throttle control and wheel speed sensor. So you can adjust max speed with out loosing torque for climbing slopes. lots of $. The bolt under the pedal is a good idea. One step better is to adjust the air velocity governor on the carb. Only negative about both of these methods is you also loose engine RPM's for lifting!

Who bravely dares must sometimes risk a fall.
What type of system does your 8 series have?

Don't take this the wrong way, but............what about a bolt under the foot pedal to stop full throttle.....simple and cheap......just an idea

Hi Poshadetree
If I understand you rite you are talking about a toy remote control toyota, if so you could cut the feed to the motor and fit a voltage regulator in line with it at a voltge lower than the battery e.g. if the battery is 8 Volts fit a 4 Volt voltage regulator and it will go at half speed (but the power will also have half the power to go up slopes). Hope this helps.
