Hello all! This is my first post.
The overhead guard height for HYSTER S7.00FT is exactly 2302 mm with new tires.
have a peek at meclift from finland. funny looking beast
Thanks Kevin, I will research them.
hyster s7.0ft is just a shade over 2.3 metre tall and standard upright is 2.6. if you speak to hyster they could do something but it would cost a lot. an approved welding shop could modify an existing ohg but they are few and far between and would need hyster approval.probably cheaper to cut roof off container and use a crane.

Hyster manufacturers these type of forklifts.
I think the it is Model - S7.0FT
Hey Mates I need to load into a container. Lowered height must be under or about 2100mm. It's not a 9foot container. (2743mm) Help. I still can't find anything.
Thanks mate, going to check it out now.
Kalmar has just released a 8 tonne machine designed just for this job. if you require any further information i would be happy to help

en.....according to my experience,it is very difficult for customers to modify the safe guard, even in the factory there will be some problem to do that, the engineer need to design the new one to fit the forklift, excepting they would like to do so,but the cost should be higher for the customization.
Good luck!
Thanks for the advice. My mate has a hyster 7 tonner that fits into a container being only 2100mm wide and about 2100mm high on the over head guard. It is a very old fork. i am looking for something like this.
It is according to the of your forklift,if possible send me the details maybe i can give you some advice....
no problem 30 ton truck with 20 foot forks. only joking. look at meclift.oy. funny looking beast but goes in container
I hate to say this but these type of questions should have all been discussed before you bought the new trucks the salesman that sold you those trucks could have told you all this because when you are buying trucks getting a truck to a special requirement is cheaper when bought new and costs a lot more money to buy a truck then modify it to your specification sorry
