Horizantal storage Vs Vertical Storage

What is the break even point for Horizantal storing Vs Vertical storing ?? In a multi SKU Less than Container load movements for various customers, how to arrive at the volume of operation upto which it makes sense not to go for Heavy duty racking andd the point after which it makes sense to go for Heavy due racking and vertical storage. Need some feedback from Forum Users.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
