Linde (& Baker) H45D-600-04:
Stutter on initial motion

Our 2007 H45D is stuttering or vibrating a little on the initial start of motion in both forward and reverse. once the machine is moving it seems to go away until you turn one direction. The local repair shop tells us that it could be the drive motor on the right side, but the machine is not that old and only has less that 2000 hrs on it. How can one be sure of this because they are not 100% sure themselves.

Had similar problem couple years ago it turned out to be ring gear, check teeth for any slight damage as the sensor does not like.when ring normally get t248 code but this truck had not fault codes on it. Try just lift on its own after start up see if you can get that fault code on

britt v;
I would be questioning the bill. If the service rep has not gone through Summerville's factory training he should be honest and let you know. Linde spent an ugly amount of money for the diagnostic software and the pressure taps in the drive train to help it's end users in unnecessary repair expenses.

None of what you've asked has been done or saved.
The service rep came by and drove the machine and came up with this after driving it. I thought that a pressure test should be completed. He came back with they believe the drive motor is gone on one side. 10k repair. Seems wrong.
Doesn't seem qualified to me.

britt v;Did service rep. perform any diagnostic both on the VW engine, LDC, LHC & LTC for this 394. Was the protocol saved and did you receive a copy? Were any pressure readings taken on the HST? Note: LDC - Linde Drive Control
LHC - Linde Hyd. Control
LTC - Linde Traction Control
HST - Hydro Static Trans
