Discussion:
Right/Left Motor open codes

One of my customers has a wave 50 that would shutter when turning and so he replaced both left and right drive motor. He had no codes whatsoever until he installed the new motors. Now the new motors show right motor open and left motor open. If I take the old motors and leave them out of the truck and connect them the unit powers up like it should. We pushed the unit around in tow mode but still no fix. I am going back tomorrow with 2 new motors and a controller but was seeing if anyone else experienced this issue before. Hopefully I explained myself good enough!

Wav 50 motors, even new don't perform well, if you look at the brushes, you'll find mayb, only part of the brush working. A good motor reconditioner that uses harder compound brush, will improve things, otherwise remove motors, remove brake, attach a drill, and using chalk bed in the brushes.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
