The only time I have had displays fail or develop funny symptoms on these trucks are in instances where the truck is fitted with white or polyurethane tires and no static strap is fitted. Especially in a polyurethane coated floor static electricity builds up to an enormous degree and causes all kinds of damage to sensitive electronic components, I had an hourmeter run backwards on me once. Check to see that the truck has either black tires or a static strap or chain or cable fitted and that it is clean.
