First question is how did the firmware get damaged? Was it an internal issue or a massive short to your high side circuitry? Second issue, Crown does not recommend nor will it honor a warranty on your controller if the unit has been dis-assembled. My suggestion would be to isolate and check your high side circuitry for any shorts including your motors and then replace your controller with a new updated version from Crown.
