Hi guys,
I have a very strange problem with a Raymond Walkie model 112TM.
This is an intermittent problem, when travelling in forward (high speed direction) and you counter throttle in order to brake/slow down, the motor blips momentarily in the counter direction, and then simply dies. At this point the truck can ONLY move in the forward direction. It's not until i hit the panic button (reverse) and it jump backwards, does reverse throttle controls return.
I have replaced all the easy stuff, both forward and reverse jog switches, the variable resistor/throttle wheel, deadman switch, AND even the curtis controller/computer!!!
Still get this problem occasionally, doesnt do this all the time!
I hooked up my programmer to interface with the curtis controller/computer. I get trouble code SRO, STATIC RETURN TO OFF ACTIVATED
Can anyone shed any light as to what this SRO code refers to, and where to begin troubleshooting?
Thanks,

Swapped out computer, contactors, lift solinoid from a known working truck & nothing changed. Swapped out the handle controls with a known working one & the code went away and truck worked as it should.
I had to replace directional switches. Now working fine.
Thanks i will clean or replace switch... i thought it was sticking but wasnt a 100%.
hey shawn, from the sounds of it, one of your direction switches in the handle is sticking...
when one direction switch stays engaged, and you engage the other one, the controller shuts down and throws an SRO code.
HI my name is shawn. I have a Raymond 114TM. After i apply brake have to turn the throttle to reverse to go foward. Checked fault SRO. Did all the troubleshooting and everything checked out ok. Seeing what was causing your SRO. All help will be greatly appreciated
