Thanks for the help everyone. We checked all the grounds and tightened all of them.
To get the unit back into service we wired in an external splendid to supply a full 12 Volts to the starter on start-up.
Works great now.

Thanks again

9 out of 10 times its the ground. Pull all of your grounds including the ones under the floorboard clean them and reconnect them make sure your negative battery cable is good and doesnt have corrossion back up inside the insulation.

Sounds like a voltage drop someplace........if it just clicks then it seems relay is working, how is the battery did you load test it,cables in good condition? What is the voltage to the S side of the starter solenoid when cranking? Is possible the relay is dropping voltage also. Do voltage drop test for both positive and negative cables and load test battery.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
