Being in the parts industry myself after years as a tech. I would not start for less than 70k assuming you have the proper experience. Don't fall low ball offers with promises of large bonus payoffs those offers are for salesmen and will only force you corrupt your department just so you can put food on your table.(you don't want to work for a company like that anyhow)
