Double Deep

Hi there all.Can anyone tell me when they are placing a pallet in double deep racking with the Larger Raymond or Crown reach trucks do they have to pick it up the Pallet off centre so to clear racking upright beam ?Also does BT make a double deep forklift?

Normally with any double deep you do not have to pick up off centre.....unless there is some problem with the racking design. I have seen double deep fork carriages fitted to BT reach trucks here in the UK, you can fit them to pretty much anything providing you get the deration right...........having said that I wouldn't reccomend going it alone on fitting DD
