If you click on the URL then after the site opens you can build your own ESPN cover (pick the option from the left side menu) with your picture and any headline you want. The only catch is you have to pay to print your cover. Not saying that is what was done but it sure looks like it. Anyone seen the cover on a news stand? Or just on the net.
Sounds more like the rumble of a slow moving steam roller! That could be a game changer for Crown.
You guys hearing footsteps?
Chris have you done any post accident inspections for accidents involving either injuries or fatalities? I see your point of view, no disrespect when I say it is a really crappy thing to do. Over the last 20 years I have done at least 2 dozen injury accidents, amputated feet, smashed hands, broken arms and legs etc. I did 4 fatality inspections and out of those 4, two involved the operators still lying there dead, one was a decapitation that after 12 years i can still see that guys face 30 feet from his body, the other was a lady on a Model 80 Raymond that smashed her head between two overhead gaurds. Maybe thats why Im so biased when it comes to treating a person smiling standing on elevated forks, knowing how easy it is for them to be just another dead operator.

If you feel that way, you must only watch G rated movies....
Its kinda like advertising a handgun by having the model point it at his head with a big smile!!!
Yes, I would like to know what makes this truck so "special" also....Other than the John Deere engine....
as far as the fork riding...wow, who cares..lol Its a sports magazine, not a material handling mag....just about every stunt in every movie, tv show ect is unsafe to the average person.... you dont see me driving 100 mph in my car and blowing up things for effect....
I agree Edward, pretty bad picture. Cleaning up and post inspection after any accident ***, especially a fatality. As far as the LP goes, you can bet your bottom dollar it will have a Crown only software set-up and you probably wont even be able to drain the oil without a Crown guy having to come out with a laptop. Whats even worse is the salesmen fail to go into any details concerning this software issue, and that goes for pretty much every L.P. unit provided that has to meet CARB standards. Enjoy your new forklift!!!!
So far, the ones I have seen in North Carolina, are only as impressive as the same unit with a Komatsu and/or Tusk logo.
Jay_w, please tell us further what you found as so "impressive".
as far as the cover of the ESPN mag, there used to be a time when it was considered incorrect to show anyone doing something generally considered unsafe or against the rules, and to show someone riding on the forks of a forklift should be something those of us who know better would/should have complained about. now even more of the "unknowing masses" will consider it "OK to ride on the forks", after all ESPN shows it on their mag cover for everyone to see...
I have already seen one. It will impress you. :)
Yes I will be interested to see this one myself..
prolly by fall time..... its called " creating a buzz" making people take a second look at something and wondering about it..so i wold assume
Yea it looks good! Anyone know when that might be coming out? Why would they put that truck on the cover when its not out yet?
