TCM FRSB 18-A4:
By pass contactor not pulling in.

I have no power to the by pass contactor, the two transistors seem ok. the hydraulic contacts pull in but the hydraulic pump motor doesn't run.
Prior to this condition the power steering stopped working, I thought that it may have been the EPS sensor, maybe that was the start of some card failure?
all fuses are ok, no sign of any rat eaten wiring.
Any suggestions?

Thank god for forklifts.
Showing items 1 - 4 of 4 results.
thanks, I found a fault on the power circuit board, due to moisture on the electrics( I think/hope)
Machine is running again.

Sorry, it was NOT my desire to complicate things, I was trying to narrow down the problem...
I think you might have known going into this problem, this never was as simple as turning on a light switch, or you never woulda asked...

maybe if you just copy and paste my questions, then answer them one at a time?

when you say "all fuses OK" are you removing (electrically isolating) the fuses prior to testing? or are we testing looking for a voltage drop?
is their a point that all the circuits return to a common negative connection (where does the negative battery cable connect?)
under what conditions do you have "no power to the bypass contactor" and how and why are you testing that?
if you have no hydraulic power, steering or drive, why did you title this thread about the bypass contactor?
