BT RRE200CC moves in forks 1st direction with no accelerator input ??
Never does it in cab 1st.
Start up unit.
Select forks 1st
travel
select reverse
travel
stop
select forks 1st and before you can get your foot on the accelerator it takes off by itself.
Any thoughts ??
I have removed accelerator and brake assembly and checked for debris etc. found nothin,
Showing items 1 - 8 of 8 results.
Thanks for the advice.
And once again thanks for your help with my problems, you're invaluable !!!
The service manual shows how to replace the direction switch.
Very easy job to do, the CID plastic housing parts are a bit tight to clip back together on reassembly.
Watch the wiring loom as you lift of the top housing part of the CID as its clipped inside to the housing, gently lift the housing up, unclip the loom then you can get inside the CID to replace the switch.
The little torx screws that secure the switch are easier with a magnetic bit / torx screwdriver.
Function lever problem I mean.
Had apart with a hyd. button problem.... but it's been a while.
Direction switch assembly is easy to replace, also includes the horn button in a sealed unit.
Have you had a CID unit apart before?
You are one smart guy !! I turned off the creep feature and problem went away !! Direction switch must be worn out, malfunctioning, sticking down. I will replace it. Thanks one more time for saving my day !!!
Park brake off when this occurs.
Troubleshooting in manual (8.2.3) State 13 Travel Info on CID shows target and actual speed. At rest select cab 1st park brake off both values are zero. select forks 1st and target value immediately jumps to.25 and the machine speeds up to.25 without touching anything ?
Is the parking brake ON when it happens?
Holding the direction switch can activate the creep travel function but it cannot release the parking brake.
I have replaced a couple of direction switches on RRE's due to this fault.
