The current U.S. Industrial Truck Standards Development Foundation (ITSDF) ANSI/ITSDF Safety Standard for Low Lift and High Lift Trucks is B56.1-2009. It became effective on October 07, 2010. (The B56.1 standards take effect one year after the original publication date.)

You can obtain a free download of this new B56.1-2009 safety standard from the Industrial Truck Standards Development Foundation (ITSDF).
