A man has been taken to hospital with a suspected broken hip following an incident at an industrial site, east of Woden Valley.
Emergency services and paramedics attended the scene where a man, aged in his 30s, reportedly fell from a goods basket attached to a forklift.
It is believed the goods basket was about two metres from the ground when the man fell.
After being treated at the scene, the man was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
An investigation to establish the cause of the incident is ongoing.
Experts are already pointing a finger at the use of the basket, with WorkSafe guidelines stipulating that an attachment should only be used on a forklift if it has been specifically designed for that forklift.
