TVH Parts takes over Ruben Power. |
TVH Parts NV has bought Ruben Power BVBA for an undisclosed sum.
All six employees were offered a job at TVH and while the company name Ruben Power remains, its activities have been relocated from Emblem to the TVH headquarters in Waregem.
Ruben Power was established in 1988 by Fons Voorspoels. TVH says the company has prioritised customer service from the very beginning, making it an ideal match with TVH's own vision.
"The employees of TVH Parts NV have been available from day one to answer any questions from Ruben Power customers. They can fall back on an extensive professional knowledge," TVH says of the take-over, which took effect on 1 October.
TVH spokeswoman Sofie Duquesne says the acquisition marks the next step in the company's expansion of its "already vast assortment" of products and services. "The products of Ruben Power have an important complementary value and once more strengthen the 'one-stop-shop' principle of the company."
Ruben Power BVBA specialises in electronics for battery traction and focuses on the electronic conversion of existing electric vehicles. TVH declined to provide information on the company's financials.
