 The 7SLL 16F model |
Toyota Industrial Equipment Europe (TIEE) has launched a new generation of heavy-duty stackers, comprising five models that feature Toyota's powerdrive system.
The 7SLL range, which has lift heights of up to 5.4 metres, is designed for heavy-duty applications where lift height, load capacities and frequency of movement are demanding.
TIEE product specialist David Backx said the new forklifts further improved driver comfort and efficiency.
"The 7SLL range includes up-to-date technologies, such as the enhanced Toyota powerdrive system which is also featured on our 7SM medium-duty stackers," Backx said.
According to Toyota, the powerdrive system provides integration of contact-less controls, replacing more conventional switches that are prone to wear, CAN (controller area network) bus communication that provides quicker transmission of information with reduced components and separately excited motors that deliver higher performance power.
The 7SLL 12.5/7SLL 16 stackers are designed for lifting and horizontal applications, while the 7SLL 12.5F/7SLL 16F wrap-over fork stackers can handle europallets but also have elevating support that makes them ideal for use on uneven surfaces or gradients.
"The 7SLL 13.5S, which has support arms that can straddle pallets, is ideal for handling bottom-boarded pallets which cannot normally be handled by wrap-over forks," a Toyota statement said.
