United Arab Shipping Company has expanded its global services with the appointment of an agent in Australia.
United Arab Agencies Australia (UAAA), based in Sydney, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Inchcape Shipping Services Group, and will have satellite offices in Melbourne, Adelaide and Fremantle.
The company will inaugurate a new container service, "AAC1", which will cover Australia to South East Asia, with connecting services further covering the Indian subcontinent, Middle East, Red Sea, Mediterranean and Northern European markets, starting September 2010.
The AAC1 port rotation will consist of Port Kelang, Singapore, Fremantle, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and Port Kelang, with the maiden voyage departing from Port Kelang.
