Deutsche Messe AG, organiser of CeMAT Asia 2006, says 350 exhibitors will display their products and services at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre next Tuesday.
That is a 28 per cent increase on last year's exhibitor numbers, the organiser said. The trade show runs from October 10 to October 13.
Global forklift manufacturers, like Toyota, Linde, Jungheinrich, Mitsubishi, Komatsu, OM, Hyundai and Still, are included in the exhibitor list. Chinese manufacturers Anhui Heli, Hangzhou, Shangli and Tailift are exhibiting.
Forklift parts and accessories manufacturers, like Cascade, Kaup, Bolzoni Auramo, GS, Hoppecke and Solideal, have also registered for the show.
A total of 21 countries will exhibit at CeMAT Asia. Highlights of the show include China Logistics Focus 2006 and the 2006 China RFID Forum.
Deutsche Messe AG is organising the event jointly with industry associations China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing and the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. Visitors to CeMAT can walk to the PTC Asia fair for power transmission and control technology, held concurrently at the same venue.
