Q. What are your company's products/services? A comprehensive range of explosion proof systems to enable diesel and battery powered trucks to operate safely within areas classified as Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. We train and certify truck dealer service engineers to ensure trucks are maintained and repaired safely during their lifetime. We also offer an explosion proof annual safety audit (EX-ASA) in many countries.
Q. Give a brief history of your company's involvement in the materials handling industry.We have been serving the materials handling market since 1972 and our people have served on working groups in Europe and North America tasked with developing explosion proof standards for forklift trucks and improving safety generally in the materials handling industry. Our systems are approved by manufacturers including Toyota, BT, Jungheinrich, Hyster, Yale, Mitsubishi, and Caterpillar.
Q. What is your company's current position in the global market?Our core markets are Europe, Africa and the Middle East. We have been providing our systems to China and the Asia Pacific region since the mid eighties. Although we are active in North America it is primarily through our oil and gas safety division.
Our systems are required to provide safety in industries such as aerosols, alcohols, bottled gas, food flavouring, oil & gas, paints, pharmaceuticals, printing inks and coatings, petrochemicals, and many more. We look to provide our systems on a global basis.

What makes your company outstanding in its market?Working with the leading truck manufacturers to explosion proof their trucks without compromising features such as AC motor technology and sophisticated truck control systems allows users to select the truck make and model of their choice rather than the very limited number of purpose built EX trucks currently available.
Our standards are based on the truck manufacturers exacting standards ensuring together we provide a seamless service based on excellent ergonomics, low maintenance costs and maximum uptime.
Q. Tell us your company's future plans.Today we have manufacturing plants in the UK and the Netherlands. Our future plans evolve around getting closer to our customers (the truck manufacturers) and their customers (the truck users) on a global basis ensuring local conversions and local after market support.
