What a difference a year makes! A record LogiMAT wrapped up last week and the shift in mood from last year was palpable. The halls were literally buzzing - and it was hard to conduct conversations over the crowd noises. While supply chain challenges still linger, most vendors seemed upbeat, bolstered by strong order books, healthy prices and generally positive sentiment. Ironically, the same issue driving demand - staff shortages - is also impacting on manufacturers, although most seem to be finding ways of attracting new workers to keep up with the increased labour requirements. We are reporting on the event over the next three weeks, starting today.
