Forklift owners and users are facing different challenges around the world as some economies start to open up and others continue to be impacted by COVID-19.
This week, our newsletter includes some advice on forklift training under COVID-19 conditions. The pointers are well-timed, coming hot on the heels of recent national forklift safety campaigns in various markets.
We also report on some of the initiatives by manufacturers and dealers to help stimulate equipment sales, detailing some finance offers and other incentives. While forklift usage seems to have been relatively unaffected during the pandemic, it's clear that most suppliers are concerned about demand going forward and are therefore pulling out the stops to keep inventory turning over. That, of course, means good deals for those in a position to renew or expand their fleets, especially in markets where government stimulus measures are available.
