We're sometimes asked how we determine what should and shouldn't be included in our newsletter.
Well, we take a cue from our readers - now approaching a global audience of 70,000.
The biggest slice of our readership (45%) is end-users and fleet managers - and they're interested in new products, innovative applications and case studies. They also follow dealership moves, especially in their local markets.
Around a third of our readers are dealers interested in other dealers, what the manufacturers are doing and, of course, what end-users want and need.
Almost a fifth of our audience (18%) are manufacturers which, no doubt, want to know what their competitors are up to, what's moving and shaking in the dealer domain and also how end-user needs may be changing.
It's clear that each segment is not only interested in its upstream and downstream supply chains, but also developments among its competitors.
Our latest reader stats show that North America remains our biggest market (51%), with Europe a steady second at 24%. Asia (excluding Australasia) comes in at 16% and Australasia is fourth at 11%.
