Forkliftaction has long supported operator safety, and we have been involved in a number of initiatives to highlight the need for skills development, including various safety rodeos.
And while we recognise the need to promote driver skills, this week, we applaud the efforts of UK safety organisation RTITB, which recently concluded its first Lift Truck Instructor of the Year competition.
It is important to acknowledge the hard work and skill of forklift instructors and we congratulate RTITB on the initiative. Of course, we also congratulate the inaugural champ, Ken Saward of Mentor FLT Training, and all the others who participated.
