A Discussion Forum member recently questioned our policy of deleting requests for - and offers of - service manuals.
The reason is simple: manufacturers regard these works as their intellectual property and have copyright protection on their side. Many are also not shy about litigation when their manuals are sold (or even given away).
We like to play fair and just as we would hope everyone respects our intellectual property, we will do what we can to protect that of others.
You can find a more detailed explanation - and some contrary views - here.
