Forkliftaction.com News is, of course, a product of the Internet era, and no-one understands the need for connection more than us.
Email is especially important in our business as we communicate with a global audience and supply chain - and we were reminded of its importance this week when our ISP was struck with technical issues. While we remained connected to the worldwide web, many of us were unable to access our email server. As the technicians worked on the problem, we gained access via webmail.
Thankfully, we were all able to continue our work and most customers would be oblivious to our challenges.
If ever you need a reminder of how business has changed and how dependent you are on technology, try and survive for a couple of days without email. I guarantee that you won’t take it for granted again - even with the spam and nuisance traffic that goes with it.
