Stand by for the World Forklift League, the first reality TV show about forklift operators. The series makes its debut next week.
Unfortunately, it’s not a true international event, but will be confined to one of the smallest forklift markets in the world - New Zealand.
It should come as no surprise that the tiny island nation is leading the way. After all, it was a Kiwi that first made it to the top of Everest and New Zealand also popularised bungy jumping.
And the grandiose title? Well, Americans have no problem calling their domestic baseball competition ‘the World Series’, so why not aim big with a forklift contest? And who knows, it may be the start of something big?
