"I recondition and sell used batteries. We market these as having 80% or better capacity with a 6 month warranty. ....We replace any cell that will not make it to 1.7v on each cell on a six hour test and we adj the gravity only when needed. We have a lot of return customers. ".

"Monotrol is nice, I agree, but the extra parts & expense usually isn't worth it (IMHO). The older Hysters have the enclosed side panels which have to be removed for service ( not a huge deal- but time consuming non the less),etc. I do think that the Hyster is a good machine, just more complicated than it has to be.".

"I've been told recently that the operator presence system will be like the seatbelts. For all lifts manufactured after a certain date, they'll have to have it on them. Anything older will be grandfathered in. After all of these years, I'm very familiar with what OSHA requires and where liabilities lie.".
