First, there’s the analysis of the KION Group’s results and the healthy contribution of the Asian market for the European giant. KION has a number of joint ventures in Asia which have contributed to its financial performance. On the flip side, we report on the call by European industrial groups for more stringent market surveillance on the continent. European manufacturers are determined to achieve a level playing field in the ‘single market’ and seem determined to stamp out 'non-compliant products’ which may, of course, include Asian imports.
